BIBLICAL PASSAGES: THE SPIRIT OF HEALING

So many promises from above: how can you possibly doubt that one way or another, you will be just fine!

Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected by the Almighty I will say to the Lord, "You are my place of safety and protection.  You are my God and I trust you." PSALM 91:1-2

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened.  MATTHEW 9:28-30

And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.  EXODUS 23:25

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.  JEREMIAH 17:14

For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord;…  JEREMIAH 30:17

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.   ISAIAH 53:5

Lord, even when I have trouble all around me, you will keep me alive.  When my enemies are angry, you will reach down and save me by your power.                PSALM 138:7

A POEM ABOUT CANCER

Cancer is so limited . . .
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot eat away peace
It cannot destroy confidence
It cannot shut our memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot reduce eternal life
It cannot quench the Spirit
It cannot lessen the power
Of the Resurrection.
Our greatest enemy
Is not disease,
But despair.

This poem was passed along to us through the AEDC "Prayer Chain".  It originated from a lady whose husband has been fighting cancer for several years.
