 BIBLICAL PASSAGES: THE SPIRIT OF HEALING

So many promises from above: how can you possibly doubt that one way or another, you will be just fine!

 Those who go to God Most High for safety will be protected by the Almighty I will say to the Lord, "You are my place of safety and protection.  You are my God and I trust you." PSALM 91:1-2

 I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid.  JOHN 14:27

 The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. PSALM 41:3

 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.   The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over to death. PSALM 118: 17-18

 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.  …who healeth all thy diseases.  PSALM 103:2,3

 …My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  2 CORINTHIANS 12:9

 … I am the Lord that healeth thee.  EXODUS 15:26

 Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.  JAMES 5:14-16

 And when he was come into the house, the blind men cam to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto Him, Yeah Lord.

Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened.  MATTHEW 9:28-30

 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.   ISAIAH 53:5

 Lord, even when I have trouble all around me, you will keep me alive.  When my enemies are angry, you will reach down and save me by your power.                PSALM 138:7

A POEM ABOUT CANCER

Cancer is so limited . . .
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot eat away peace
It cannot destroy confidence
It cannot shut our memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot reduce eternal life
It cannot quench the Spirit
It cannot lessen the power
Of the Resurrection.
Our greatest enemy
Is not disease,
But despair.
